Meetings and after lunch speakers for 2008/2009 Coffee mornings are held on the second Thursday of each month (except December) from 11 am to 12 noon, in the LRERA hall in Cell Barnes Lane. No notice is necessary for these get-togethers. They provide an enjoyable opportunity for members to meet and socialise informally. Lunch meetings are held on the last Thursday of each month (except December), meeting at 12.30 for 1.00pm in the same hall. Absence must be notified please.
Coffee mornings are held at Ashwell House on the second Thursday of each month (except July, August and December) from 11 am to 12 noon, and they are free! No notice is necessary for these get-togethers. They provide an enjoyable opportunity for members to meet and socialise informally. Lunch meetings are held at Ashwell House on the last Thursday of each month (except July, August & December), meeting at 11.45am for 12.45 pm. Club Members as Speakers. We welcome club members as our lunchtime speakers, not only because of their interesting experiences and knowledge, but also because we get to know each other better this way. Probus Ladies Luncheon Club The club was formed 24 years ago to allow the wives/partners and widows of the Probus Club of St. Albans and Probus Verulamium to meet socially. We are a very friendly and welcoming group of ladies who meet for lunch three times a year to enjoy a good meal and a variety of interesting speakers. These take place at Ashwell House. We also hold coffee mornings to which husbands/partners and friends are invited. These are also held at Ashwell House. A team of nine ladies organise the different aspects of the Club.
